Newton, MA – The interior design of this historic 7000 square foot English Tudor residence with original architectural elements circa 1890 drew inspiration from the homeowner’s vibrant and adventurous contemporary art collection. Tiffany juxtaposed textures, leather furniture, and a combination of exotic and neutral fabrics with dramatic lighting fixtures and family heirlooms to create colorful unexpected moments throughout the home which fills with light as the sun goes from east to west.
“There’s a feeling of airiness and light in the formal living room,” says Tiffany. “That was a primary design goal.” The interior design of the library and billiard rooms adjacent to the foyer’s grand staircase blend vibrant colors and create a feeling of timelessness.
